The Rodeo Drive Concours d’Elegance will celebrate “The Art of Italian Motoring” on June 19, 2011. The annual event will take place as the country of Italy marks an important milestone with the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy. In celebration, Rodeo Drive will pay tribute to some of the most famous names in Italian design and lifestyle.

“The annual Father’s Day event will highlight a WORLD CLASS combination of automobiles, motorcycles and designers featuring Italian makes and models,” says Bruce Meyer, Chairman of the annual event. “We hope to curate the best selection of Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Fiat, Lamborghini, Lancia and Maseratis from Southern California and the Western United States for this year’s tribute to Italy.”

An annual Father’s Day tradition, the Rodeo Drive Concours d’Elegance is an exclusive display of luxury automobiles set against the backdrop of world class Rodeo Drive boutiques. Celebrating the unique relationship between the automotive, fashion and entertainment
industries, the spectacular car show is free and open to the public.

The Rodeo Drive Concours d’Elegance is a fabulous classic car show that is held on Father’s Day every year. This exciting event is dedicated to the celebration of classic automobiles, entertainment, and fashion, and it has been included in Frommer’s list of “300 Unmissable Events and Festivals Around the World”. It will take place at the well-known shopping district of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, California on the 19th of June, 2011, and it will showcase some of the finest automobiles in the world.

The theme of this year’s Rodeo Drive Concours d’Elegance is “The Art of Italian Motoring”, and the honored marque is FIAT. On the day of the event, more than 120 vintage and classic Italian automobiles will be displayed along Rodeo Drive, right in front of the world class boutiques that the street is famous for. FIAT will be presenting the vintage FIAT 500 as well as “Cinquecento” cars in 14 different exterior colors. The company will also take the opportunity to promote interest in its new 2012 FIAT 500, a wonderful car that is deeply rooted in the Italian style. Those who are present at the event will get the chance to drive or ride in the car
Italian motorcycles are also invited to show including Ducati, Lambretta, Moto Guzzi and Vespa. The event will also feature Italy’s design companies, including vehicles designed by Bertoni, Frua, Ghia, Michelotti, Pininfarina, Touring and Zagato.
